VVDL AD 2.20  LOCAL AERODROME REGULATIONS

1  AIRPORT REGULATIONS

At Lien Khuong Airport, a number of local regulations are applied. The regulations are published in a manual which is available at the AIS Briefing Office as follows:

  1. Meaning of markings and signs.

  2. Information about aircraft stands.

  3. Information about taxiing to and from aircraft stands including taxi clearance.

  4. Marshaller assistance.

2  TAXIING TO AND FROM STANDS
2.1  

Arriving aircraft will be assigned a stand by Lien Khuong TWR.

2.2  Operational procedures

1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9- Used for aircraft up to code C and equivalent (maximum wingspan 36 M such as A320/A321).- For departure aircraft: The tow tractor is used to towing/pushing aircraft for departure.- For arrival aircraft: Aircraft self-taxi into stand.
Notes:
- Stand 1 is only used when there is no aircraft parking at stand 1R and stand 2 is not used for aircraft code D and equivalent.- Stand 5 is only used when there is no aircraft using tie down anchor at stand 5R.- Stand 9:+ Departing aircraft at stand 9 is pushed back to the limit line and then self-taxi out to RWY for departure.+ Aircraft taxi into stand: Aircraft is only allowed to park at stand 9 when there is no aircraft parking at stand 9A.+ Aircraft taxi out for departure: Aircraft at stand 9 is only allowed to self-taxi out for departure via stand 8 when there is no aircraft parking at stand 8 or stand 8L or stand 8R.

- Used for aircraft with maximum wingspan 28 M such as ATR 72 and equivalent.- For departure aircraft: The tow tractor is used to towing/pushing aircraft for departure.- For arrival aircraft: Aircraft self-taxi into stand.

3  Putting the safety cones around the aircraft
