  TEMPORARY OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES APPLIED DURING THE SHUTDOWN PERIOD OF PHU BAI DVOR/DME (HUE)

1 — INTRODUCTION

This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD.

This AIP Supplement aims at notifying the temporary operational procedures applied during the shutdown period of Phu Bai DVOR/DME (HUE) for repair.

This operational procedures shall be applied within the airspace under the control of Ha Noi ACC, Ho Chi Minh ACC, Da Nang APP/TWR and Phu Bai, Buon Ma Thuot, Pleiku, Lien Khuong TWRs.

Applicable period: From 0000 on 26 MAY 2025 until 0000 on 10 JUL 2025.

2 — DETAILS

2.1  Temporary suspension of ATS routes segments: R328, W2, W10

In case of HUE DVOR/DME shutdown, the following segments of ATS routes shall be temporarily suspended:

ATS route R328: Segment DVOR/DME HUE – TORED.

ATS route W2: Segment KONCO – BIGBO – DVOR/DME HUE – DVOR/DME DAN.

ATS route W10: Segment DVOR/DME HUE – HAMIN – ASSAD - BALOV.

2.2  Operational procedures for affected segments of ATS route

2.2.1  ATS route R328: Segment DVOR/DME HUE – TORED (Used for en-route and take-off/landing at Phu Bai aerodrome)

  1. For Ha Noi ACC:

  1. Using routes A1, A202 as alternatives to ensure the route connection in flight plan.

  2. Radar vector may be used.

  1. For Airlines: Submit FPL using alternative routes or fill into FPL using DCT (Direct) between the start point and the end point of the temporarily suspended segments in order to flight on these routes.

2.2.2  ATS route W2: Segment KONCO - BIGBO - DVOR/DME HUE - DVOR/DME DAN (Used for en-route and take-off/landing at Dong Hoi, Phu Bai, Da Nang, Chu Lai aerodromes)

  1. For Ha Noi ACC:

  1. Using routes Q1, W1 as alternatives to ensure the route connection in flight plan.

  2. Radar vector may be used.

  1. For Airlines: Submit FPL using alternative routes or fill into FPL using DCT (Direct) between the start point and the end point of the temporarily suspended segments in order to flight on these routes.

2.2.3  ATS route W10: Segment DVOR/DME HUE - HAMIN - ASSAD - BALOV (Used for en-route and take-off/landing at Cat Bi, Phu Bai aerodromes):

  1. For Ha Noi ACC:

  1. Using routes Q1, Q2, Q4, Q10, W1, W20 as alternatives to ensure the route connection in flight plan.

  1. Radar vector may be used.

  1. For Airlines: Submit FPL using alternative routes or fill into FPL using DCT (Direct) between the start point and the end point of the temporarily suspended segments in order to flight on these routes.

2.3  Flight procedures at Phu Bai, Da Nang aerodromes

2.3.1  Phu Bai Aerodrome

Temporary suspension of flight procedure charts:

  1. Standard Departure Chart – Instrument (SID)

    1. Standard Departure Chart – Instrument (SID) RWY 09: PHUVA 1A, ANTHU 1A, BACMA 1A, BACMA 1B, HUTRO 1A.

    2. Standard Departure Chart – Instrument (SID) RWY 27: PHUVA 1C, ANTHU 1C, BACMA 1C, HUTRO 1C.

  2. Standard Arrival Chart – Instrument (STAR) RWY 27: PHUVA 1A, ANTHU 1A, BACMA 1A, NAMBI 1A, HUTRO 1A.

  3. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP)

    1. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP) VOR RWY 27.

    2. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP) ILS Z RWY 27.

Other flight procedures are operating normally.

2.3.2  Da Nang Aerodrome

Temporary suspension of flight procedure charts:

  1. Standard Departure Chart – Instrument (SID):

    1. Standard Departure Chart – Instrument (SID) RWY 17L/R: HUE 1A.

    2. Standard Departure Chart – Instrument (SID) RWY 35L/R: HUE 1C, BUNTA 2C, ITBAM 1C.

  2. Standard Arrival Chart – Instrument (STAR):

    1. Standard Arrival Chart – Instrument (STAR) RWY 17L/R, 35L/R: HUE 1D.

    2. Standard Arrival Chart – Instrument (STAR) RWY 35L/R: HUE 1F.

  3. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP):

    1. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP) VOR W RWY 17L.

    2. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP) VOR W RWY 17R.

    3. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP) VOR Z RWY 35L.

    4. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP) VOR Y RWY 35L.

    5. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP) VOR X RWY 35L.

    6. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP) VOR Z RWY 35R.

    7. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP) VOR Y RWY 35R.

    8. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP) VOR X RWY 35R.

    9. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP) ILS Z RWY 35L.

    10. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP) ILS Y RWY 35L.

    11. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP) ILS W RWY 35L.

    12. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP) ILS Z RWY 35R.

    13. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP) ILS Y RWY 35R.

    14. Instrument Approach Chart (IAP) ILS W RWY 35R.

Other flight procedures are operating normally.

3 — EFFECT

This AIP Supplement shall become effective from 0000 on 26 MAY 2025 until 0000 on 10 JUL 2025.

4 — CANCELLATION

Any change relating to the contents of this AIP Supplement shall be notified by NOTAM.

This AIP Supplement includes 1 attachment as follows:

ATS routes segments connecting HUE DVOR/DME Chart.
