  INSTALLATION OF THE PASSENGER BOARDING BRIDGE OF T2 TERMINAL AT NOI BAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT(VVNB)

1 —  INTRODUCTION

This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD.

This AIP Supplement aims at notifying installation of the passenger boarding bridge of T2 terminal at Noi Bai International Airport (VVNB).

2 — DETAIL

2.1  Construction time: H24 (From 0200 on 01 APR 2025 to 0159 on 31 DEC 2025)

2.2  Construction areas:

Note:

  1. Construction area of passenger boarding bridge at aircraft stand 12:

    1. East: About 20.6 m from the taxilane centerline of aircraft stand 14.

    2. West: About 8.7 m from the taxilane centerline of aircraft stand 12B.

    3. South: Adjacent to the edge of T2 service road.

    4. North: About 8.1 m from the holding line of aircraft stand 12B.

  2. Construction area of passenger boarding bridge at aircraft stand 28:

    1. East: About 41.7 m from the taxilane centerline of aircraft stand 29.

    2. West: About 12 m from the taxilane centerline of aircraft stand 28.

    3. South: Adjacent to the edge of T2 service road.

    4. North: About 21 m from the holding line of aircraft stand 28B.

    Adjustment area: Adjust the stop line of the nose wheel at aircraft stand 28B 15 m to the North. The distance from the stop line of the nose wheel to the safety limit line behind the tail of the aircraft after adjustment is 54 m.

    Time: Continue the adjustment until 1659 on 2 JUL 2025. After completing the construction, a trial operation will be carried out until 31 DEC 2025 (see details on page 7).

    Aircraft operation procedures: The aircraft is only allowed to start the engine after being pushed back to taxilane V for departure.

  3. Zone 1, zone 4: Constructed until 15 AUG 2025 (refer to AIP SUP 38/24 published on 03 OCT 2024).

2.2.1  Area 1: Aircraft stands 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A (zone 1).

  1. Stands from 2A to 5A: Move the existing fence (separating the apron from the T2 terminal expansion) 21.7 m to the South to install the passenger boarding bridge. After the area installation, move the fence 18.5 m back to the North.

  2. Area 1 (West adjacent to the edge of T2 service road): Move the existing fence 22.5 m to the West to install the passenger boarding bridge. After the installation, move the fence 18.2 m back to the East.

2.2.1.1  Time: From 0200 on 01 APR 2025 to 0159 on 01 MAY 2025.
2.2.1.2  Areas temporarily suspended operation: Aircraft stands: 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A.

2.2.2  Area 2: Aircraft stands 6A, 7A and 12 (zone 1), 30A (zone 4).

  1. Stands 6A, 7A: Move the existing 22.5 m fence to the West to in stall the passenger boarding bridge. After the installation, move 18.2 m the fence back to the East.

  2. Stand 12: Expand the existing fence 28.3 m to the West and 15.1m to the North to install the passenger boarding bridge. After the installation, move the fence 13.7 m back to the East and 5 m to the South.

  3. Stand 30A: Move the existing fence 22.1 m to the East to install the passenger boarding bridge. After the installation, move 17.3 m the fence back to the West.

2.2.2.1  Time: From 0200 on 01 MAY 2025 to 0159 on 01 JUN 2025.
2.2.2.2   Areas temporarily suspended operation: Aircraft stands: 7A, 30A, 12, 12B.
2.2.2.3   Areas resumed normal operation: Aircraft stands: 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A.

2.2.3  Area 3: Aircraft stands 28, 31A, 32A and 33A (zone 4).

  1. Stand 28: Expand the existing fence 20.7 m to the West and 12.8 m to the North to install the passenger boarding bridge. After the installa tion, the fence will be removed immediately.

  2. Stands 31A, 32A and 33A: Move the existing fence 22.5 m to the South to install the passenger boarding bridge. After the installation, move the fence 17.3 m back to the North (except for per pendicular to the taxilane centerline at stands 32A and 33A the 12 m area move 22.5 m to the original position).

2.2.3.1  Time: From 0200 on 01 JUN 2025 to 0159 on 01 JUL 2025.
2.2.3.2  Areas temporarily suspended operation: Aircraft stands: 7A, 30A, 12B, 28, 28A, 31A, 32A and 33A.
2.2.3.3  Areas resumed normal operation: Aircraft stand 12: Adjust the stop line of the nose wheel of aircraft stand 12 26 m to the North (is not used for aircraft with length of 73.9 m or more).

2.2.4  Trial operation of passenger boarding bridge:

2.2.4.1  Time: From 0200 on 01 JUL 2025 to 0159 on 31 DEC 2025.
2.2.4.2  Areas temporarily suspended operation: Aircraft stands: 7A, 30A and 12B.
2.2.4.3  Areas put into operation:
  1. Aircraft stands: 28A, 31A, 32A, 33A.

  2. Aircraft stand 12: Maintain operation as during the construction time of area 3.

  3. Aircraft stand 28: Adjust the stop line of the nose wheel at aircraft stand 28 6.7 m to the North.

    1. Operated for aircraft up to code E (wingspan under 65 m).

    2. Is not operated for aircraft with length of 70.8 m or more.

    3. Aircraft is not operate at door L1 and the passenger boarding bridge.

2.3  Aircraft operation procedure: Apply as the current procedures.

3 — EFFECT

This AIP Supplement shall become effective from 0200 on 01 APR 2025 to 0159 on 31 DEC 2025.

4 — CANCELLATION

This AIP Supplement shall supersede NOTAM A4205/24.

Any change relating to this AIP Supplement shall be notified by NOTAM.
