  CONSTRUCTION OF RUNWAY STRIP 02L/20R AND TAXIWAYS STRIP W6, W7 AT CAM RANH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (VVCR)

1 — INTRODUCTION

This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD.

This AIP Supplement aims at notifying the construction of RWY strip 02L/20R and TWYs strip of W6, W7 at Cam Ranh International Airport (VVCR).

2 — DETAIL

2.1  Construction period:

From 0000 on 20 MAR 2025 to 1659 on 17 JUN 2025.

2.2  Construction areas:

Note:

  1. Cam Ranh International Airport will provide follow-me car free of charge to lead aircraft during construction period.

  2. RWY 02L/20R is marked with "X" as RWY closure and install electricity "X" letter at THR RWY.

  3. NO ENTRY signboard is installed at edge line of TWY.

  4. Pilot must follow strictly the ATC clearance.

2.2.1  Area 1:

2.2.1.1  Construction areas:

  1. RWY strip 02L/20R area, TWY strip: A portion from TWY W6 edge line to the position which is 537 m from the centre line of TWY W5 to the North.

  2. RWY strip 02L/20R area, TWY strip: A portion from TWY W6 edge line to the position which is 48.5 m from the centre line of TWY W7 to the South.

2.2.1.2  Period: H24.

2.2.2  Area 2:

2.2.2.1  Construction area:

RWY strip 02L/20R area, TWY strip: A portion from position which is 73.7 m from the centre line of TWY W7 to the position which is 160.7 m from the centre line of TWY W7 to the North.

2.2.2.2  Period: H24.

2.2.3  Area 3:

2.2.3.1  Construction area:

RWY strip 02L/20R area, TWY strip: A portion from position which is 36.8 m from the centre line of TWY W7 to the position which is 73.7 m from the centre line of TWY W7 to the North.

2.2.3.2  Period: During the Intermittent time between flights:

2.3  Temporary suspended areas:

  1. RWY 02L/20R.

  2. TWYs W5, W6, G5.

  3. The ILS/DME equipment systems of RWY 02L.

  4. The lighting systems of RWY 02L/20R and TWYs W5, W6, G5.

2.4  Aircraft operational procedure during the construction period:

2.4.1  For aircraft Code C:

  1. For arrival aircraft:

    1. RWY 02R: After lading → TWY G7 → cross the beginning of RWY 20R → TWY W7→ TWY W → TWY Y5/Y6/Y7 → apron.

    2. RWY 20L:

      1. After lading → TWY G1 → cross the beginning of RWY 02L → TWY W1→ TWY W → TWY Y5/Y6/Y7 → apron.

      2. After lading → TWY G3 → cross the beginning of RWY 02L/20R → TWY W3→ TWY W → TWY Y5/Y6/Y7 → apron.

  2. For departure aircraft:

    1. RWY 02R: Apron → TWY Y5/Y6/Y7 → TWY W → TWY W1 → cross the beginning of RWY 02L → TWY G1 → RWY 02R for departure.

    2. RWY 20L: Apron → TWY Y5/Y6/Y7 → TWY W → TWY W7 → cross the beginning of RWY 20R → TWY G7 → RWY 20L for departure.

2.4.2  For aircraft Code D, E:

  1. For arrival aircraft:

    1. RWY 02R: After lading → TWY G7 → cross the beginning of RWY 20R → TWY W7→ TWY W → TWY Y6/Y7 → apron.

    2. RWY 20L:

      1. After lading → TWY G1 → cross the beginning of RWY 02L → TWY W1→ TWY W → TWY Y6/Y7 → apron.

      2. After lading → TWY G3 → cross the beginning of RWY 02L/20R → TWY W3 → TWY W → TWY Y6/Y7 → apron.

  2. For departure aircraft:

    1. RWY 02R: Apron → TWY Y6/Y7 → TWY W → TWY W1 → cross the beginning of RWY 02L → TWY G1 → RWY 02R for departure.

    2. RWY 20L: Apron → TWY Y6/Y7 → TWY W → TWY W7 → cross the beginning of RWY 20R → TWY G7 → RWY 20L for departure.

3 — EFFECT

This AIP Supplement shall become effective from 0000 on 20 MAR 2025 to 1659 on 17 JUN 2025.

4 — CANCELLATION

Any change relating to this AIP Supplement shall be notified by NOTAM.
