This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD.
The AIP Supplement aims at notifying the construction of lead-in lines of stands 38, 40, 43, 43A and stand 43A at the Noi Bai International Airport (VVNB), the details are as follows:
Note:
Notes and operational limitation: Applied as current operational procedures. Rerfer to AIP Viet Nam, VVNB AD 2.20, Item 2.4 and AD 2-VVNB-2-1, AD 2-VVNB-4-1; AD 2-VVNB-5-1.
Ground service units arrange warnings on both sides of aircraft wing-tips to ensure safety during the towing/pushing process, especially when towing/pushing aircraft via additional towing/pushing line to into/out stand.
Construction areas are surrounded by fences, marker boards, warning lights, markings as specified.
Area 1A:
Northern: About 34.54 m from the centre line of TWY V;
Southern: About 46.54 m from the centre line of TWY V;
Western: About 36.80 m from the centre line of lead-in lines of stands 41/42;
Eastern: About 52.95 m from the centre line of lead-in lines of stands 44/44A;

TWY V (A portion from stand 43/43A to stand 44/44A (the position which is 38 m from the centre line of stand 43/43A to the West to the position which is 38 m from the centre line of stand 43/43A to the East):
Used for aircraft up to code C (wingspan up to but not including 36 m) and equivalent;
Aircraft code D (wingspan from 36 m) and above shall not move through this TWY.
Stand 35: Used for aircraft up to code E (wingspan up to but not including 65 m) and equivalent; is not allowed to operate for aircraft code F and above.
Stands 36, 36A, 36B: Adjust the stop line of the nose wheel 60.35 m to the East; the nose of the aircraft faces East.

For aircraft code D (wingspan from 36 m) and above:
Stands from 12 to 28: After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V3/V4/V5 → TWY V → stand.
Stand 35: After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V3/V4/V5 → TWY V → taxilane W3 → stand.
Stand 36:
When there is no aircraft operation at stand 29: After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V3/V4/V5 → TWY V → taxilane W2 → stand (when there is aircraft parking/parking overnight at stand 29, other aircraft is allowed to taxi into stand 36).
After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V3/V4/V5→TWY V, stop at taxilane W2 (with its nose faces the South)/TWY V (with its nose faces the East) and is towed/pushed via taxilane W2 → stand.
Stand 44 (when there is no aircraft parking at stand 44A): After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V6/V7 → TWY V → stand 44A → stand.
Stands from 45 to 55, 1H, 2H: After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V6/V7 → TWY V → stand.
Other stands: Pilots are requested to follow ATC instructions strictly.
For aircraft up to code C (wingspan up to but not including 36 m) and equivalent:
Stands 36A, 36B: After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V2/V3/V4/V5/V6/V7 → TWY V → taxilane W2 → stand.
Stand 42 (when there is no aircraft parking at stand 41): After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V2/V3/V4/V5/V6/V7 → TWY V → stand 41 → stand.
Other stands: Pilots are requested to follow ATC instructions strictly.
For aircraft code D (wingspan from 36 m) and above:
Stand 35: Aircraft from stand → taxilane W2 → TWY V → TWY V3/V4/V5 → TWY S for departure.
Stand 36: Aircraft is pushed back from stand → taxilane W2 → TWY V, with its nose faces the East or the West for departure via TWY V3/V4/V5. The aircraft is only allowed to start the engine when it has been pushed back to taxilane W2/ TWY V.
Stand 44 (when there is no aircraft parking at stand 44A):
Aircraft is pushed back from stand → stand 44A → TWY V, with its nose faces the West for departure via TWY V6.
Aircraft is pushed back from stand → stand 44A → TWY V → taxilane W5, with its nose faces the North for departure via TWY V6/V7.
Stand 45:
Aircraft is pushed back from stand → TWY V, with its nose faces the East or the West for departure via TWY V6/V7.
Aircraft is pushed back from stand → TWY V → taxilane W5, with its nose faces the North for departure via TWY V6/V7.
Other stands: Pilots are requested to follow ATC instructions strictly.
For aircraft up to code C (wingspan up to but not including 36 m) and equivalent:
Stands 36A, 36B: Aircraft is pushed back from stand → taxilane W2 → TWY V, with its nose faces the East or the West for departure.
Stands 37, 39, 41, 44, 44A, 45, 46:
Aircraft is pushed back from stand → taxilane W2 → TWY V, with its nose faces the East or the West for departure.
Aircraft is pushed back from stand → TWY V → taxilane W5, with its nose faces the North for departure.
Stand 42 (when there is no aircraft parking at stand 41): Aircraft is pushed back from stand → stand 41 → TWY V, with its nose faces the East or the West for departure.

TWY V (A portion from stand 43/43A to stand 44/44A): Used for aircraft up to code F (wingspan up to but not including 68.5 m) and equivalent.
Stand 35: Used for aircraft up to code F (wingspan up to but not including 68.5 m) and equivalent.
Stands 36, 36A, 36B: Adjust the stop line of the nose wheel 60.35 m to the East; the nose of the aircraft faces the East.
Note: Stands 36, 36A, 36B: Follow the Follow-me car.
Stand 36:
When there is no aircraft operation at stand 29: After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V3/V4/V5/V6/V7 → TWY V → taxilane W2 → stand (when the aircraft is parking/parking overnight at stand 29, the aircraft is allowed to taxi into stand 36).
After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V3/V4/V5/V6/V7 → TWY V, stop at TWY W2 (with its nose faces the South)/TWY V (with its nose faces the East) and is towed/pushed via TWY W2 → stand.
Stands 36A, 36B: After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V2/V3/V4/V5/V6/V7 → TWY V → taxilane W2 → stand.
Stand 42 (when there is no aircraft parking at stand 41): After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V2/V3/V4/V5/V6/V7 → TWY V → stand 41 → stand.
Other stands: Pilots are requested to follow ATC instructions strictly.
Stands 36, 36A, 36B:
Aircraft is pushed back from stand → taxilane W5 W2 → TWY V, with its nose faces the East or the West for departure.
For aircraft code D (wingspan from 36 m) and above: The aircraft is only allowed to start the engine when it has been pushed back to taxilane W2/TWY V.
Stands 37, 39, 41, 44A, 45, 46:
Aircraft is pushed back from stand → TWY V, with its nose faces the East or the West for departure.
Aircraft is pushed back from stand → TWY V → taxilane W5, with its nose faces the North for departure.
Stand 42 (when there is no aircraft parking at stand 41): Aircraft is pushed back from stand → stand 41 → TWY V, with its nose faces the East or the West for departure.
Stand 44 (when there is no aircraft parking at stand 44A):
Aircraft is pushed back from stand → stand 44A → TWY V, with its nose faces the East or the West for departure.
Aircraft is pushed back from stand → stand 44A → TWY V → taxilane W5, with its nose faces the North for departure.
Other stands: Pilots are requested to follow ATC instructions strictly.
Put into operation:
Taxilane W3: A portion from stand 35B to stand 36B.
Taxilane W4.
Stands: 35A, 35B, 38, 40, 43, 43A.
Service road R7: A portion from the intersection with service road R6 to stand 39 and a portion from the intersection with service road R8 to the intersection with service road R9.
Stands 36, 36A, 36B: Adjust the stop line of the nose wheel 60.35 m to the West; the nose of the aircraft faces the West (return as before the construction of phase 1).
Note: Cancel the procedure following the Follow-me car to stands 36, 36A, 36B.
Area 2A:
Northern: About 31.30 m from the centre line of TWY V;
Southern: About 46.30 m from the centre line of TWY V;
Western: About 8.75 m from the centre line of taxilane W3;
Eastern: About 44.00 m from the centre line of lead-in lines of stand 37/38;
Area 2B:
Northern: About 46.30 m from the centre line of TWY V;

Aircraft code D (wingspan from 36 m) and above shall not move through this TWY.
Stands 35, 35A, 35B: Adjust the stop line of the nose wheel 60.35 m to the East; the nose of the aircraft faces the East.
Adjust the towing/pushing lane from taxilane W4 to stands 37, 38 into taxilane.
Addition of taxilane signal from stand 37 into stand 36.

2.4.3.1.2.1 For arriving aircraft:
For aircraft code D (wingspan from 36 m) and above:
Stand 35: After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V4/V5 → TWY V → taxilane W2 → stand.
Stand 36: After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V6/V7 → stand 37 → stand (do not allowed arrange aircraft at stands 37, 38, 39, 40).
Stand 28: After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V4/V5 → TWY V → stand.
For aircraft up to code C (wingspan up to but not including 36 m) and equivalent:
Stands 35A, 35B: After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V4/V5/V6 → TWY V → taxilane W2 → stand.
Stand 36: After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V4/V5/V6 → TWY V → stand 37 → stand (when there is no aircraft parking at stands 37, 38).
Stands 28A, 28B, 29: After landing, aircraft taxi via TWY S → TWY V4/V5/V6 → TWY V → stand.
2.4.3.1.2.2 For departing aircraft:
For aircraft code D (wingspan from 36 m) and above:
Stand 35: Aircraft is pushed back from stand → taxilane W2 → TWY V, with its nose faces the East or the West for departure via TWY V4/V5.
Stands 36: Aircraft from stand → taxilane W2 → TWY V → TWY V4/V5 → TWY S for departure.
Stands 28: Aircraft is pushed back from stand → TWY V, with its nose faces the East or the West for departure via TWY V4/V5.
For aircraft up to code C (wingspan up to but not including 36 m) and equivalent:
Stands 35A, 35B: Aircraft is pushed back from stand → taxilane W2 → TWY V, with its nose faces the East or the West for departure.
Stands 36: Aircraft from stand → taxilane W2 → TWY V → TWY V4/V5/V6 → TWY S for departure.
Stands 28, 28A, 28B, 29: Aircraft is pushed back from stand → TWY V, with its nose faces the East or the West for departure via TWY V4/V5/V6.
Stands 36A, 36B: Temporarily operation serving VIP flight.
TWY V (A portion from the position which is 38 m from the centre line of taxilane W3 to the West to the position which is 38 m from the centre line of taxilane W3 to the East): Used for aircraft up to code F (wingspan up to but not including 68.5 m) and equivalent.
Stands 35, 35A, 35B: Adjust the stop line of the nose wheel 60.35 m to the East; the nose of the aircraft faces the East.
Adjust the towing/pushing lane taxilane from taxilane W4 to stands 37, 38 into taxilane.
Addition of taxilane signal from stand 37 into stand 36.

This AIP Supplement shall become effective from 0200 on 02 OCT 2024 to 0159 on 24 APR 2025.
Any change relating to this AIP Supplement shall be notified by NOTAM.
