  CONSTRUCTION TO EXTEND APRON AT DONG HOI AIRPORT (VVDH)

1 — INTRODUCTION

This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD.

This AIP Supplement aims at notifying the construction to extend apron at Dong Hoi airport (VVDH).

2 — DETAILS

2.1  Construction area: Includes 2 areas

2.1.1  Area 1: Located on the West of the current apron (toward Meteorology station) and limited as follows:

  1. North: About 114 m from the RCL 11/29;

  2. South: About 325 m from the RCL 11/29 to the North;

  3. East: About 59 m from the CL of taxilane of stand 1;

  4. West: About 209 m from the CL of taxilane of stand 1.

2.1.2  Area 2: Located on the East of the current apron (toward TWR) and limted as follows:

  1. North: About 134 m from the RCL 11/29;

  2. South: Adjacent to the fence of Dong Hoi TWR;

  3. East: About 149 m from the CL of taxilane of stand 4;

  4. West: About 28 m from the CL of taxilane of stand 4.

Note: Construction areas are equipped by fences and warning lights.

2.2  Contruction period:

From 0000 on 15 AUG 2024 to 1659 on 05 MAR 2025.

2.2.1  Area 1 is divided into 2 areas as follows:

2.2.1.1  Area 1A:
  1. Position: From the position which is 150 m from the RCL 11/29 to the South to the position which is about 325 m from the RCL 11/29.

  2. Construction period: H24.

2.2.1.2  Area 1B:
  1. Position: From the position which is 114 m from the RCL 11/29 to the position which is adjacent to area 1A.

  2. Construction period: Intermittent time among flights or when there is no flight operation.

2.2.2  Area 2 is divided into 3 areas as follows:

2.2.2.1  Area 2A:
  1. Position: From the position which is about 150 m from the RCL 11/29 to the South to the position which is about 150 m from the fence of Dong Hoi TWR (from the fence of Dong Hoi TWR to the North).

  2. Construction period: H24.

2.2.2.2  Areas 2B, 2C:
  1. Position:

    1. Area 2B: From the position which is about 134 m from the RCL 11/29 to the position which is adjacent to area 2A;

    2. Area 2C: From the position which is adjacent to the fence of Dong Hoi TWR to the position which is adjacent to area 2A.

  2. Construction period: Intermittent time among flights or when there is no flight operation.

2.3  Apron operational procedure during construction period:

  1. Cancellation of stand 3.

  2. Cancellation of the current Western taxilane which is parallel with the current stand 1.

  3. Cancellation of helicopter stands H1 and H2.

  4. Establishment of taxilane V on the apron:

    1. Located coincide with the taxilane into the stand 3;

    2. Used for aircraft from stands 1, 2, 4 to taxi out for departure;

    3. Used for aircraft taxi in/out from stand 4A.

  5. Stands 1, 2 and 4: Used for aircraft code C as up to A321 and equivalent.

  6. Stand 4A: Used for aircraft up to ATR72 and equivalent.

  7. Do not operate simultaneously stands 4 and 4A.

2.4  Aircraft operational procedure during construction period:

2.4.1  For arrival aircraft:

  1. Stands 1, 2, 4: RWY 11/29 → TWY E2 → stand;

  2. Stand 4A: RWY 11/29 → TWY E2 → taxilane V → stand;

2.4.2  For departure aircraft:

  1. Stands 1, 2: Aircraft self-taxi and turn left toward South East → taxilane V → TWY E2 → RWY 11/29 for departure.

  2. Stand 4: Aircraft self-taxi and turn right toward North West → taxilane V → TWY E2 → RWY 11/29 for departure.

  3. Stand 4A: Aircraft self-taxi and turn left toward North West → taxilane V → TWY E2 → RWY 11/29 for departure.

3 — CANCELLATION

Any change relating to this AIP Supplement shall be notified by NOTAM.
